Christmas Magic on the San Bernard River !

The 21st Annual San Bernard River Christmas Boat Parade and Home Decorating Contest presented by Friends Of the River was a huge success Saturday evening. Thirty-four musically lighted and Christmas-themed boats cruised down the San Bernard River and  entertained hundreds of fascinated fans.

The cheering crowds enjoyed boats floating down the river decorated as: a gingerbread house, Santa's sleigh, a floating cross, hundreds of computerized lights in sync with Christmas carols, Christmas trees, reindeer, and candy canes galore. Home owners decorated their homes for the enjoyment of the boat parade participants. Lawns were filled with twinkling trees, lighted reindeer feeding on lawns, and Santas and snowmen. Twenty-four of these beautiful homes were entered in the Home Decorating Contest.
