F.O.R. Rangers
Youth Learn to Identify Fish Common to the San Bernard
Friends Of the
River Rangers announce the July topic for
the youth of the San Bernard, - FISH IDENTIFICATION. Both girls and boys,
between the ages of 10-15 are invited to join us at the F.O.R. Community
Center (20450
C.R. 510 B in the Holiday Shores Subdivision, Brazoria) Monday, July 21 at
7:00 p.m. when they will be introduced to the kinds of fish
normally found in the San Bernard River.
Monday, June 16, F.O.R. Rangers learned a
bit about fishing techniques and this month, they’ll learn what fish they
can find in the San Bernard while they work on those techniques. If the
F.O.R. Rangers have their favorite fishing gear, they can bring it to the
F.O.R. Community Center for fishing after the identification discussion.
But, if they don’t, the tackle will be provided for them. Come join the
adventure and let’s have fun!
As an added treat, the F.O.R. Ranger
t-shirts are ready and can be picked up at the meeting July 21!
