In May, Friends Of
the River San Bernard filled out the E.P.A.'s
Gulf Guardian Award application for non-profit
groups for our project to re-open the mouth of
the San Bernard River. Although F.O.R. did not
win first, second or third place for the
project, F.O.R. was recognized with the
following award. Next year, the river should be
open and F.O.R. will apply again. In the
meantime, please share in the joy of this hard
won recognition we have all worked toward.
One
of F.O.R.'s primary functions is to
educate the public regarding the
issues concerning the San Bernard
River and it's Communities. Contact
