F.O.R. San Bernard Adopt-a-Highway

Thank You Notes

Friends Of the River San Bernard would like to thank all the friends who came out to clean up our F.O.R.’s adopted highway on Thursday, July 10. We appreciate the fact that you made time in your busy schedules to beautify and protect our environment. Together, we picked up 26 bags of nasty trash along a 2.5 mile stretch of FM 2918.

Thank you: Genie Perkins and son, Brice; Gene Sullivan; Keith Shields; Wayne Head; Gloria Powell;  Darrell Powell; Jan Edwards; Roy Edwards; Theresa Mullens and sons, Dylan and Royce; and Mike Jankowiak.

FM 2918 is the highway that passes through the San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge and ends at the Intracoastal Waterway and “The Point” boat ramp. It is the third quarter that Friends Of the River San Bernard has participated in the Texas Adopt-a-Highway program.
