Friends of the River offers a youth program

BRAZORIA — Friends Of the River San Bernard announces a new adventure for the
youth on the San Bernard River.
Girls and boys between the ages of 10 and 15 are invited to the Friends of the
River Community Center, 20450 CR 510-B in the Holiday Shores Subdivision. the
third Monday of each month for an hour to learn more about the river and how to
keep it clean and safe.
The first meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday and will consist of introductions,
ideas and opinions from both adults and kids.
The adventure begins with learning about the wildlife, boating safety and
fishing on the San Bernard. The adventure is going to continue with experience —
fishing, boating and experiencing the San Bernard.
