FOR San Bernard General Update Meeting Slated

Friends Of the River San Bernard (FOR San Bernard), would like you to mark your calendars for the next General Public meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Dido’s restaurant; 2922 CR 519; Brazoria, Texas.

Dido’s will open for the Friends Of  the River San Bernard on a day the restaurant  is usually closed.  A Chicken or Shrimp Fettuccini dinner will be offered for a special price of $8.95. Those who wish to purchase dinner should arrive at Dido’s between 5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. until the meeting starts

FOR San Bernard Interim Board of Directors has been busy and would like to share with our friends and neighbors updates on several fronts. Topics to be discussed include: an update on the mouth of the river, the status of the group’s 501(c) 3 application, nomination process for the upcoming board of directors election, the Labor Day Boat Parade, and the next social event to be held August 1 (National Night Out). National Night Out is designated as the night you go outside and meet your neighbors, but being on the river, we are planning a Dock Hop.

Come to the meeting, bring your energy and ideas and find out what we have to offer each other. Together, we make up a community.
