Summer is Starting to Sizzle on the San Bernard…

‘Specially 7-7-07Lucky You!

Summer activities are starting to heat up here on the river. The River Mouth Committee reports things are working: the C.E.P.R.A. grant application is in the process of being filed with the G.L.O. We will be in a holding pattern on that count, for now - as well as waiting to hear who won the grant applications for the first round of C.I.A.P. funding. There probably won’t be any news from the G.L.O. on either topic until sometime this fall. But, there SHOULD be good news when we do hear. Keep posted.

The River Mouth Committee just completed and installed a permanent F.O.R. San Bernard River display in the county court house lobby in Angleton. Thanks go to Brazoria Co. Sheriff’s Deputy, Sergeant Percival, who originally came up with the idea of a permanent display and was instrumental in getting it set in the court house.  So, when you are in Angleton, check out the display in the courthouse – and if the pamphlet pockets aren’t full, please contact the Mouth Committee at mouth@sanbernardriver.com so they can restock.
