C.E.P.R.A. and C.I.A.P. Updates

Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the regular monthly meeting of the Brazoria County Shoreline Restoration Task Force, guests Ray Newby (of the Texas General Land Office) and Hugo Bermudez (of Coast and Harbor Engineering) brought the membership up to date on the C.E.P.R.A. and C.I.A.P. projects and funding for the Brazoria County shoreline. The San Bernard project was discussed. All agencies involved with this project are working in conjunction with each other to make the most of all possible funding. As with any project of this scope, project details are still being worked out. At the present time, it appears that the Corps of Engineers current parameters are proceeding as planned.
